Children play in street
“Children playing games are usually good camera subjects,” Jerry Cooke advises
“They love to win, and they forget the camera quickly.” This shot, made on 104th Street, N.Y.C. for Friday magazine feature, illustrates his point. Cooke shot from across the street with a 35mm camera and an exposure of 1/250th at f/6.3.
The sign on lamp post illustrates Cooke’s love of implied contrast.
